Adultery

Spring is in the air and so is married love;
For marriage is a gift from up above.
Holy wedlock offers one unending joy
Which all the sands of time will ne'er alloy:
Once you're married both of you are free
To get stuck into some adultery.
From now on each new fornication
Will have an extra-marital bonk-relation.
So go and get your neighbours' tongues a-wagging:
With some adulterous randy hardcore shagging.
Ah! que j'aime une nuitée chaude de fornication
(tellement, tellement mieux que la masturbation).

Favorite Poets: Siegfried Sassoon, Wilfred Owen, Rupert Brooke, Chaucer, Shakespeare to name but a few. And VERY IMPORTANTLY: Erich Fried, a leftwing Austrian of Jewish ancestry who fled the Nazis and became a British citizen in 1949., And, other writers (non-poets mainly): Raymond Chandler, Irvine Welsh, Anthony Burgess, Graham Greene, Charles Bukowski, John le Carré, Anthony Horowitz, Mick Herron, Margaret Attwood, Edna O'Brian, Maeve Binchy., Writers who I find vastly over-rated: TS Eliot, Virgina Woolf, Sylvia Plath, Phil Larkin, E.A. Poe, A. Ginsburg, Longfellow, Gerald Manley Hopkins (actually I LOATHE Hopkins more than damson-dappled words can say).

Kind of...

amusing take on being married with the same old lusts! I'm not sure of the consequences of both of the partners being encouraged to have affairs; except that adultery must be fun! People do it all the time! Must be that unless you get married, you can't have as much fun cheating on your significant other! I think I'll pass, my life is exciting enough. Geezer.
