I Wrote a List of Questions

For the potential candidates
forgetting that so many things can’t be legislated
So, I vegetated on that for a minute
Then, I spin it dry and try to decide
tangible actions we can take to improve
the groove
That will move masses
Of all classes
To take a glance
At the chance
To stop being afraid
Of losing what we have
They’re not gonna take my stuff
Or power
Or fun
I have with my gun
Yell the old school team
The long oppressed want their respect,
helped along by a straight up deck.
To get a chance
to glance
with an unjaundiced eye
and to speak with an equally amplified voice,
to get an even chance to chase happiness.
