Lack Of Humour

The remorse
I confront with
While coming across
The cross section of crass society
Is the lack of humour?
In many,
Though most.

We take a crack
At our own free will
But hate it
When our whiskers
Someone does till.

Those who have a tinge of humour
Brave life,
Bring smiles on sullen faces...
They help the weak trodden survive.
Those who lack such a gift divine,
My eyes only shower tears,
Like as if it hadn’t rained for years.
I have my sorrow to express
For such as those
Who are here...
