Worlds Asunder

Two beacons glowing bright
become the sun
when they unite

Two orbs
traverse space
each knowing the others face

Two hearts
ablaze with fire
both will sate
the others desire

One love
waiting to live
one love wanting to give

Both worlds
torn asunder
by time
distance
and space

There is nothing...

so sorrowful as a love denied by time and space. I feel the ache. It could not be more palpable in this poem. ~ Geez.

Hi Chrys

I liked this little piece and as Geezer said two Lovers separated by time and space is pretty agonizing for both ...i couldn't understand the first stanza in which it's said "two beacons glowing bright become the Sun"....

regards...

Raj

It was an analogy

two people hearts on fore
when brought together become one orb or one sun
with this in mind re read the first stanza and it will make sense(or at least I hope so)
