The Beach With No Sand

I look beyond the sun and turn to morn
I face towards the west - scorn and weltered
close is not far and yet....
the dream comes over and over
and brace -
and still I hope that there is peace
for tonight is moonlit daze
and promise is inevitable
can you see it, strong and holding
soft clouds against beautiful pictures
but wait - dawn has past and yet again....
I turn to the east and see it
more radiant and illuminous than ever
Catch that...solemn and vast
my toes clasps to the shells
what is missing - a floor not soft
for clouds that shadow my dreams
and wishes upon given requests
sends fallen leaves and cherished souls
to become gathered in motion
am I wrong to walk on broken pastures
to want a feeling of security and just
to live without anguish that seeds
to honor the beach with no sand

initially if I may suggest

compose shorter
12 to 19 lines poems
and
space them
it gives one an appeal
to read

Take it as you will
