Hazy Shade of Purple
Running through the spotted mist
Enfolded in a violaceous haze
Tripped on a twisted berry root
Falling to her grave
Down, down the rabbit hole
No one could hear her screams
Through the heliotrope
Landing on the rocks of amaranthine
Slowly, she emerged
From her sea of wine
What she thought
Wasn't what it seemed
It had all been a lavender dream

Alice B...
on an acid-trip! I like this one for the shaded grades of purple. It only vaguely makes sense and that's ok, because it was sooo much fun! ~ Geez.

Thank you Gee
It was really fun to write and I guess my love of Lewis Carroll snuck out. I am enjoying writing outside the box and being a little less serious :) I didn't realize there were so many cool words for purple.

RoseBlack,
I find this poem very pleasantly twisty...I would love to shoot the tubes with you! you have teased poor old purple into revealing all of her secret shades. I love this surreal look! excellent write! even eddy liked it!

Totally awesome
It’s just great. I can’t really find anything I don’t love about this. I love purple. So much magic and emotion.

The synonyms for purple were so much fun (I love purple too)! I have been playing with words for each color and just seeing what happens and the results have been fantastic!
