The Murder in Sixth Street Alley Part 3

To my knees I dropped
Making nary a sound
Crawling on all fours
When suddenly there came a thump
My blood froze as I moved along
The killer was close but not close enough
That they could see
The trap door waiting for me
I reached out with a shaky grasp
Down the fire pole
With a noiseless gasp
Freedom at last

Very nice escape...

I think that the murderer will have a devil of a time, deducing where it is that you have gone. No time to think, just move.
We all await with bated breath, the chase is on! ~ Geez.

Our subject

Seems to have a sinister side...trap doors...fire poles....let's see if he outsmarts our killer
