I WOKE UP ONE MORNING
I knew your love was poison
but I gave you my heart
trusted you...
Yet you deceived me
sneaking like a serpent
You have seduced the night
in your sensual outfits
Your look has stimulated
lustful sight
Men hunt for you
in the night
and desire you
Your net has entangled
all the lovers
in your pond
Please love me not
What have I not given you?
Please itemize them
one by one.
Why have you
done
this
to
me?
I sincerely and diligently
gave you my heart
yet you deceitfully
played gimmicks!
your indulgence
into sexual
gratification
has made you a spoiled brat.
What else do you want
out of life?
why do you
move faster
than your
shadow?
You've already set a marathon
you can't finish.
I see that
your heart
is extremely
far away
from me.
this dirty life
you have chosen
shall ruin
your integrity.
repent,
and walk in light.

Onyinyechi, that woman you write about
Needs to make it up to you!
clearly she didn’t realize what value she had…
