the news paper then said
DEAD
He was a great celebrity .
Later many also went
Marylyn Monroe
POTUS JKF KENNEDY
so many others
whose names you won't love to know
Many Neos
also did go
do you know
All are forgotten entities
even you and me
Blah Blah
who will clap for me
All know me
only till the unearthly hour
when they'll cut off all the power
NO LIGHTS why
Light has gone
the curtains are drawn!
just another one gone

Hi, Lovedly,
A dose of reality
about our mortality...
There is always a line in your poetry that grabs me, and for me, "Blah Blah" really adds a lot to the flavor here, There's a confidence about it that brings our mortality into perspective. Great comparison to the lights going out. (I hope the power comes back on!)

only good leaders like you ALL hope
give poets like me some scope
and add on more of
BLAHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAS
I hoppingly hope
The lights in the milky way will continue to shine
whether or not on my poem
clap you like a diamonds mine
but let me rhyme
one day I may SHINE
