Trusting
Yes, things don’t always go as planned,
Things happen I don’t understand,
But God’s promises I will claim -
I will trust in his precious name
And I will leave it in God’s hand.

Welcome
Welcome to the site. There is a really simple and really deep concept here. Whether you call it God or karma or fate, there are so many things so far beyond our control. It could be that God has a plan but I think it’s a little more. I think we need to surrender to the idea that some absurdities are gonna creep into everyday life and sometimes they’re really unbearable. We owe it to ourselves to remain open to the possibility that things can and will get better. No matter who’s steering the ship, we are both talking about faith.
Your rhythm and pacing are excellent, and I like the rhyme structure.
Welcome

Greetings, Trudy B,
A topic to contemplate, for certain! I agree that your rhyme is tight and your rhythm flows easily. Best wishes with your book!
