Orion

I rise early to darkness
Autumn winds carry leaves
To their eternal resting places
My cares are likewise swept away
Chasing leaf litter, coaxed into flight
An ancient archer’s angular stance
Patiently waiting with bow drawn
Bearing witness to the ages
Takes notice of my awakening

The stars...

are the gift of the gods. A light show for the ages. I love this story, just a little slice of your life. ~ Geez.

Orion

My favorite constellation and the first one I became aware of as a child. It sparked a life long interest/relationship with the stars. Good job.
