The Climb

I’ll try and make the most of all the time here that I’m given
I’ve wasted plenty floundering around instead of living
I know I can’t relive the past but oh the mind does try
Grief for all the moments squandered always makes me cry
Looking over shoulders knowing I cannot go back
Learn the lesson, learn it well and cut myself some slack
Always will I bare the scars left by Father Time
Life is for the living, the falling, and the climb

I am feeling all of this

In my soul tonight. This month has been a challenge in many ways and as much as I would like to turn back the hands of time, I have to find a way to go forward. This really hit home for me. Great job as always.
