Seren

little star
of the far southwest.
lunar child, sun kissed
and star blessed.
her iridescent smile
bespeaks the glory
of centuries to be
and of spirits passed.
her heart is
a blooming desert,
celebrating the cactus flower.
she is both sunrise and sunset
and best;
my sister of lifting veils...
little star,
please shine and smile for me?

Dearest One

You have no idea how touched I am. Big rolly polly tears are falling down my face and I am honoured that you would write such a magical poem for me.

It has been a really tough night and to come home to this was the balm my broken heart needed.
