Rhymes with Orange
he sat on a gold coloured shitter
not "X"ing on "Formerly Twitter"
and perplexed, we expect
that a "tweet" is an "X"
sadly vexed with the hex of a quitter!
(next turn...)
his face never graced "TwitterX"
'til his pride became rifled with wrecks
now the platform's O.K.
for his legal dismay
as he brays for your credit or cheques!

Hey Obi...
..glad this tickled your fancy...funny the stuff people can think up when we're bored. All that subconscious clatter rises like a turd sometimes! Sorta like politicians and their ilk.lol
Cheers!

Hello, Thomas,
Your added limerick seals the title. So good. I need to stop watching the news, too.

Hi Lavender
..and thanks again. I don't really like being fixated to news in general, but I always seem to expect to find something that restores just a little bit of confidence in the decency in humanity...seems it's usually something you need to look for in other situations. Maybe that's one reason I come here.
