Endings
Written by Kelly Ann Wilson

I was the kid who never read the last chapter
Of my favourite books
Or watched the final episode
Of my favourite shows.

I wanted to stay in a time and place
Where there was still more to the story.
I never wanted them to end.

I could never accept
That life is full of endings,
So, I grew up
With the consequences of that.

I stay in the same place too long.
I hold onto people for too long.

If only that child had known
That change is how we grow.

And humans,
We are meant to bloom.

I sympathize...

with you on this. At least now, with the advent of "the net", we can take advantage of all the avenues open to us.
We don't have to stay in one place forever; with the opening of a "Window" we can go anywhere. ~ Geez.
