Ghost Brother

I saw my dead brother yesterday

Ghostly pale like he was on display

I saw him, but he did not see me

He looked as peaceful as he could be

I asked him what it was like to be dead

These are the words that he said,

"My mind is calm; my heart is still

No more pain do I ever have to feel

No more tears will ever come to my eyes

All my suffering with me has died

Brother, I have comfort that I never felt alive

That is how I have been since I died."

I saw my dead brother yesterday

I hope to be able to join him right away

Dear Depressed1

It sounds extremely comforting, but please do not stop learning all there is to know about being alive... you are appreciated here!

Absolutely...

Our personal satisfaction of knowing you, would be much diminished if you were to succumb to the call.
Stick around, we can be fun. ~ Geez.
