THE SOME OF ALL FEARS

THE SOME OF ALL FEARS

Sometimes is an indistinct word
Always and Never hit the spot
Almost as if one may have lied
As more specificity is preferred
And a kind of vagueness is not
As going along just for the ride

Somewhere can be just a place
It’s Near or Far, Here or There
More likely to be based outside
All likely locations in any case
And you must feel my despair
All maps and exit routes denied

Someone, not a person of note
Whether commoner or nobility
Perhaps a foreign online bride
Or an author who never wrote
And even a patient in a facility
With nobody acting as a guide

Something, an object or event
And could even be just an idea
That can’t be readily identified
Unsure what it may have meant
However strange it may appear
At least it can be said I’ve tried
