Journey to Pristine Shores

Though long the destination
and tiresome, I'll set my sails
to your shores, wishing the winds of hope
to bless and blow my sails.

I'll set my sails to bask in shores
pristine, to inhale
the whole Mediterranean breeze.

I'll set my sails
and dig for peace
in broken shells
on your shores.

Appreciate it

Thank you dear Lavender.
Just a quick scribble full with raw feelings as war has stopped in Gaza (at least for the few coming days)
I can't thank you enough for sharing with me this precious moment my dear friend.

Hi Rula, your poem gave me

Hi Rula, your poem gave me images of the Mediterranean Sea. It is lovely in its message for hope. I liked the way you used "broken shells" for a metaphor. Well done, Ruby xxx :)
