Void
Rain drips through this canopy
Feeding my insanity locked within
My own head without want of others
Words, my mind bleeds thoughts
That repeat on an endless loop
Caught within my cranium of invention
That hides from attention I don't seek,
I'm blind to your appearance or appraisal
Who was I before I dreamt up all this
Madness or is that even true lost with
The unrelenting tide my head awash
With fear and endless torture
Twenty four seven I'm torn between
Hell and Heaven, an endless loop of
Self directed expression seeking a
Void to fill my own empty space.

I like the internal rhymes. I note how endless loop gets repeated and the very sparse punctuation enhances that feeling of circularity, Perhaps if you didn't capitalise the first letter of each line that would be more evident. It's appraisal, not aprisal.

Hello Ziggy
This was well done. I, too, break the rules of poetry and art. I am not often successful in crafting meter or traditional works. I really like how you describe what the struggle within your mind feels like, how you describe the two sides pushing and pulling on a daily basis. Your language was descriptive and the emotion was felt and displayed. You really gave the reader a good feeling of what an endless loop feels like. Good job.
