A pathway to freedom!

What does your heart tell you,
do you believe it or not?
All of your life you've wanted
a safe place to hide.

The doors are all open now
just step within the bright portal of light..
Freedom awaits you,
just down the next corridor.

Doubting your own intuition
will only slow you down.
You've much more to offer,
just reach out and embrace it.

Don't give in to your fears,
just reach out and receive the truth.
The people in your life
can help you find a true path.

The distance from you
to the nearest star
can only be measured
by your own experience.

As a new day unfolds
you'll find what you're looking for.
Out there beyond
the cries of the city streets.

Follow the course
that leads to your destiny.
A future written and
transcribed by your higher power.

Hold out your hand
it will come like a butterfly.
Land on your cheek
wipe the tears form your eyes!

You'll discover that place,
which belongs to your sacred heart.
Your mistakes and regrets
will all wash away.

Trust your own judgement
to lead you to freedom.
In time you'll come to respect
your beautiful mind!

About This Poem

Last Few Words: Finding your way home is something that only you can do. Where you go from here will be determined by your own choice. In the end I feel that you'll find that there's nothing to be afraid of. You and only you will be your own judge. It matters very little where you go or what you do. What really counts are your deepest motives. You can change your own destiny by freeing your mind. Just let go and let your goodness provide for you, that place in your soul where you've always wanted to be. Your heart will illuminate that sacred passageway. In the end I know you'll end up where you want to be. Have patience my friend and chart a true path.

Sweet Leslie,

I am glad for you, that you usually sound up-beat and positive in your poems. I think one must examine their own motivation on a regular basis, to see if it is pure... you are one of my heroes.
