Cathode God

From there to here
The water flows
Carrying hopes
So dissolved
The power of the few
Revered by the many
TV sheep
Believers of the cathode god
Sadness flows with this river
Sadness and fear

Neopoet AI - version 2.0

The below is a computer-generated response from Neo, Neopoet's computer artificial intelligence:

The poem "Cathode God" effectively conveys a sense of disillusionment and critique towards the influence of media on society. The imagery of water flowing, carrying hopes and sadness, serves as a powerful metaphor for the transmission of emotions and beliefs through television. The contrast between the power of the few and the reverence of the many highlights the disparity in influence and control. The reference to "TV sheep" and "believers of the cathode god" further emphasizes the idea of blind conformity and worship of media. Overall, the poem effectively communicates a message about the impact of mass media on individuals and society.

Cathode God

Hello, JB,
Yes, one doesn't ever really know the truth, there's so very little of it. Brilliant title.
Thank you,
Lavender
