Trippin' the Light Dangfando
My stepsister shared her joint with us
on a resplendent summer afternoon in my youth.
Mostly I remember us spending hours
making up nonsensical words we felt should exist,
trying to give them definitions,
wondering who decided 33-1/3 RPMs was a thing,
and wishing we had more wine to smoke.

Dear Michael,
LOL! Yes I do like your title. I have similar memories. at age twenty, I shared a joint with my mother. She made long strides in mellowing, at that time. And I began to see her in a new light, as a person. Good piece of writing. I always enjoy your literary offerings.

Hi Michael, I love the made
Hi Michael, I love the made-up words, the strange logic of youth, and the small but important questions, you catch all of that without forcing it. But I love that last line, a little skewed and playful. Excellent, Ruby xx

Sounds like...
the prelude to one of my friends and I "marijuana moments", when we made changes to his show-car and my motorcycle. We are painted alike and actually parked near each other when the shows permitted it. We both have lots of awards and had really good times. Yes, "Marijuana Moments" are really a thing. Nice job of describing the scenario. ~ Geez.
