My Heart Remembers...

My Heart Remembers…

“War of Hearts by Ruelle plays in the background”.

Like a long-awaited holiday,
My heart remembers You.
Ahava.
Yes, you.

Ache,
I am again handcuffed with the reality that I can not have you near.
It feels like centuries since our paths last crossed.
Yet I recall every detail of you.

Your dark hair,
Your dream-filled eyes,
Your illuminating smile,
The sun that beckoned me,
The lens you wore,
You.
The daydream I thought I had awoken from.
Has reminded me of You.

I spoke to God about you again.
I asked him if you were well.
I wondered if your heart now chases after him.
I asked if you render songs for him.
If He is now all of you.
I wondered.

You are a gem so I can’t let you get lost in the World.
A masterpiece by Abba,
A melody that strings at my heart yet again.
My Oasis,
My Ahava that can't be mine.

Me before you,
A wave clashes between us,
Slashes to my heart,
Yearnings and tears linger,
Yet I refuse to stagger and fall.
I dare not cross unless I shall drown.

Blue,
My heart cries again.
Nevertheless, I tread carefully,
You are like an expensive antique,
A rare caught by thy eyes.
Like stars intertwine maybe our destines may align.
My prayers shall cease not.
My heart seeks for you.
May Abba be your strength,
May Jesus walk with you,
May you be led by The Holy Spirit.
May you look like Christ.
Beautiful as the day goes by.

I bring you to Abba once again.
That he keeps you in his love.
If we are meant to be,
Just like Isaiah 60:22,
May Abba,
Our Loving Father make it happen.
Amen.
