09/25 One Pure Emotion

Pure Emotion

One pure emotion is not nearly enough
Our hearts are filled with much more stuff

Feelings that often evade the mind
Are often those that we cannot find

There are no signs we can clearly see
Only feelings that belong to me

A baby born with sparkling eyes
A smile, a laugh, gurgling sighs

A wedding with your family in tow
Creating havoc in the pews below

A casket with a beloved parent inside
Bring thoughts that can never be denied

These feelings and thoughts with such devotion
Are created in our minds with pure emotion

Hello Clentin

Totally agree... The ending was a bit abrupted for me, but I cant find a better to improve. It might also be only me

Nice job!

I liked the two images you…

I liked the two images you painted for me, a parent in casket and a wedding with family around, even the one about the new born i would have loved you pick one and milk it dry of emotion, distill it, concentrate it till it was so pungent emotionally it chokes me up.But I enjoyed it nonetheless, especially the rhyme and rhythm. Thank you.
