At Half Moon Bay Nursery
It sounds silly to say, I know.
When I think about you,
I consider houseplants
and my hapless record with them.
Your leaves were always in need.
But no matter the effort,
it was never enough.

I don't...
have any problem associating plants with people, as a matter of fact, I think some plants may have more intelligence than a few people I know. LoL. A succinct piece that describes a relationship that withered away. ~ Geez.

I enjoyed your poem, Brief, to the point. Certainly, relatable to nurture of a plant or a relationship and never being "enough"

Thank you,
