holy ground

sometimes i walk into silence
with all my clothes on, just so i can
distinguish myself from the mandala
spinning patterns in my mind,
circular motions
circles within circles and golden ratios
globes of colour and clouds of unknown
origin
strobe iridescent as wheels hum in
the distance
seagulls flock with Buddhas on their backs
and the tyranny of beauty is dressed like
a vulture
waiting
for fair game,

there's an accidental meeting about to take
place, and two eagles soar with a pan flute
mountains recede in empty skies, an ocean's depth
calls to me, i step on a violet poem along my path,
nothing can be denied when there's nothing to gain
or lose

a thousand visions shatter in an instant
and You appear....

When shit is holy, ya know you have *arrived*. But to answer your question, it must be the blueberry, strawberry & raspberry salad we ate last night, invited a lot of fruit bats to my belfry or maybe just maybe... a *contact high* from Barry. ;-)
