because I've got things under control,
life is a bowl of cherries
so, I think I'll have another bowl;

no need to worry
because I've got that magic touch,
I really aught to treat myself
to something I love so very often...

It's a little humorous, to me
how serious I take myself, sometimes.
I use humor as a defense mechanism,
whenever I'm running out of "rhymes".

But, if things go really wrong,
I can always make things right;
even during the day,
but, especially late at evening time...

..Oh, oh...information underload !

Whenever it might be, that I need it,
I simply pull humor from the shelf;
however, it's one of those few things
that can sabotoge itself.

And because I instigate it,
I risk being laughed at by every "bloke";
because I can't recover,
when no one gets the humor...

is respect, and to not appear foolish.
