through fingertips
each fire flare strand
a wind free fragment

always

I have loved red heads
drawn to them
enigmatic symbols
from history

trials and trails

like a river that wends
this and that way
we seek muses
and loves propulsions
in the exciting and ordinary
stars that gleam off our rail
our craft
our paths
on the great voyage of life
