My Dog At My Feet

Running along the seashore, sun setting on the horizon
With my dog at my feet
Waves crashing and splashing showering my legs
With my dog at my feet
Sand castles feeding my imagination of another world
When chivalry was still in flower,
When knights saved damsels in distress,
Dragons horeding their treasure.
Wizards casting their spells,
Hours of fun embarking on a quest in another world
Escaping the one we are in,just for a little while
With my dog at my feet
Collecting sea shells for a necklace, listening to the ocean within
Gazing at the kalascope of colors of the shell,of the setting sun on the ocean
With my dog at my feet
Chasing the seagulls along the shore
With my dog at my feet
Retiring for the night, sitting by a roaring fire
Drinking camanile tea and hot broth
With my dog at my feet
Just him and I, friends till the end
I will live the rest of my life
With only,
