delightful

delightful

she balanced her body's substance
of stardust and shadow
delicately

on bitter point of
that pin

in glimmered dance
breathtakingly
delightful

to a music universe
plays on and on
in perfect rhythms

her feet followed each
chord's phrase
as falling rain

caused concentric circles
to glow
as afterthoughts

she smiled for those
who could
see.

I absolutely adore this poem,

I absolutely adore this poem, more so that is written back to back with 73rd Street.

To be able to write poems of truth, delicacy, imagination and beauty and clout is indicative of how well-balanced the poet is... otherwise we are *stuck* in a certain genre, even if it is wonderful music/poetry. Humans need a variety of foods, few of us live on air alone.

Love.
