"Daddy's Girl"
Her innosence gone, prematurely
she's like a full-grown, glistening pearl;
a flawless unit of nature
not to mention, "daddy's girl";
imprisoned, and surrounded by
the thought that it "feels", wrong;
told, "not to yell", and "not to cry"....
because he wants her to be...strong.
An extremely trusting child
childishly placing trust;
on her shoulders, guilt is piled
as she hits the streets, or bust.
From her family she is given
the insult of disdain,
a shameful life she has been livin'
so, on the streets she will remain.
The trouble is, her wounds can't heal
worse than any type of curse,
so, she tries not to "feel" anything
because, it only makes things, worse!

Hello doc.
An intersting theme you're presenting indeed..
Raising a child is never an easy thing to do,
in fact I consider it one of the most difficult.We
so often are cruel in raising our children because
we want them to be perfect
Your second stanza tells me a lot.Very much enjoyed..
