KEY TO HEAVEN

KEY TO HEAVEN

There are many heavens,
you hold the key to one of mine,
do not lose it on your journey
through the brine.

you are my stone,
I kick you ahead to plumb the way,
the way to places we don't know of
far ahead,

the way on which we burnish
our sharp edges,
straighten bends,
enrich our lives before it ends.

Ann 5th March 2012.

A simple act,

A simple act, and all of a sudden it's also a beautiful journey, made so by your words. Simple beauty. Love Roscoe..

I can relate to this as a woman

you are my stone,
I kick you ahead to plumb the way,
the way to places we don't know of
far ahead,

I love these lines as they represent how much men mean to us-the women- and how important is their presence in our life

Great write!

men aren't stones

mostly they are solid bones
and
women need to keep them under check
when all alone
