proposal

I was visiting
a Central library once
a young gal was going around the library
in circles....
I volunteered to help her
in case she was struggling
for something special
and this is what she said to me.

'''Sir my mom told me
to go around
to a library to see,
how many guys come looking for me,
as they would think,
I'm as knowledgeable
as the librarian
and would propose to marry me ...''

Sir will you now help me?
What to marry thee!

moms only know

they shoulder such responsibility
from birth
to bring you to life ,
ere you predisease...
marriage and keeping teenagers safe
is one such...

That you went to the library as a man did you stay in that guise or have you changed again????? Letting secrets out the more you write and your age has been showing but you have to go some to catch me La La.

my mind is still 17

I stopped at 36 it was a lovely age, where I knew enough to be able to take on stress and love then many other things without the pain of being younger.
Later I was so glad of what I learned that year as it brought me through many things with a quiet peace that surrounds my Spirit..
