SOMEBODY IS MISSING

SOMEBODY IS MISSING

So, are we all gathered here
I’ll do a headcount to be sure
Five of us, but we should be six
This leaves us in a bit of a fix
All of us went through that door
Jim’s the medic, there’s his gear

Jon, did you check the display
It would have shown us as light
Maggie – wasn’t Jim with you
And wasn’t Ken with him too
This portal isn’t working right
I hope we can get back today

Brenda, did you use the code
The one that we need to return
If not, I guess we are stranded
Fate has not been even-handed
As a leader I’ve much concern
Our survival now is a rocky road

Check the console once again
Does it show we’re complete
Instead of six we are just five
I wonder if Jim can still be alive
Unpopulated worlds don’t greet
I hope that he can keep sane

Let us now reverse the process
Hit the emergency recall switch
See if we can all get safely back
Surely systems can keep on track
Red or Green, don’t know which
One door opens, another closes
