Survive

Survive
Written by Kelly Ann Wilson

Survive.
Get up
Even if it has become late in the day now.
Wash your face
With just cool water.
Eat and drink something.
Anything.
Move your body, stretch out right where you stand.
Reach out to the very gentlest person you know.
Clean the easiest thing there is to clean in your house.
Maybe there is one thing, just one, you can feel thankful for.
Step outside in the sun
Right outside your front door.
Look back at a picture of a better day.
Mark a day to make new memories in your calendar.
Survive.
And, then, then you get to live.
