My love for poetry began when I was a child and read Lermontov's work. I think the idea of romanticism is very close to me, and that's one of the things that is so inspiring about his work.
In my free time, I am also interested in other poets.
I like Georgy Ivanov, a silver age poet.
I'm familiar with many contemporary Ukrainian poets, although I don't have many favorites.

For me, poetry is a way not only to look at everything around me in a different way, but also to see the poet's personality in a new way, so I often study their biography when I read their poems. These subtle connections between the life of a real person allow you to see symbols in poems that you might not have guessed before.

I like to understand people, their motives, the beauty of their decisions and feelings. That's why poetry will always be a very important thing for me.
