Earlier this year, we had an open nomination period for a new AC. Unfortunately, the response was underwhelming - we only had 3 candidates for 3 positions. In the interest of having competitive elections, we are delaying the election until later this year.

hmm, for all its simplicty of democracy
this can be a complex site. Like all true believers in democracy the process should be as widely advertised and as simple as possible.
