We are testing a new program by Google -- members will be shown a survey on poem pages that they will be asked to fill out before continuing on. These surveys will only appear at most once a month, will not appear for premium members, and only one response (rather than the full survey) is required. Google, in turn, will pay us about $0.05 to $0.45 per survey result (with most surveys likely being closer to $0.05). We estimate this program, over the course of a year, will offset our budget for one month (in contrast, display advertising covers close to two months of our annual costs). 

We are running this on a trial basis till the end of the year and are very open to your feedback. 

Please do consider a premium membership as that will open a number of new features for you, and is our primary source of support.

world of commerce...

I like how they present themselves.....the advertisments....carrier fees....plus it works the social strata of human interest....the social awakening.....I will fill them out next time! Thank You Andrew!

If you're going

to get paid for it, then I agree, do it. Bear in mind, though, that Google has a track record of lengthening these kinds of surveys over time, which will eventually turn people off.
I would prefer a different survey provider too - I don't trust Google farther than I can spit.

I feel guilty...

Not for filling out the survey..I had a cell phone..
Status interuptus I called the damn thing...
fifty a month....
We have a western union money thingy downtown
Im sure they can help me figure it out
lost the cell phone..was only a seventy five
dollar gift full of my way out there poems
and strange pictures of things..
should have bought a power cord for this thing..
anything to Help Neo...

but will do (almost) anything for Neopoet.
