I'm a native New Mexican. My family dates back to the Spanish Land Grants in NM. I've been writing for about twenty-five years mas o menos. I'm a graduate of the University of New Mexico. Retired about seven years ago. I hike and mountain bike the foothills of the nearby Sandia mountains. I am inspired by the everyday stuff of life around me. I have never settled on a "favorite" poet.
