Some of my favourite writers who have informed how I see the world are Shakira, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Jhumpa Lahiri, Neil Gaiman, Rumi, Natalia Lafourcade, Abba, Fia, Josh Garrels, System of a Down, Rob Breszny, Bad Bunny, David Bowie, Madonna, Sam Phillips, etc, etc, etc. I seek in poetry expression without boundaries, subversive honesty, painful love of self and others no matter how that may look, understanding or desperate attempt at.
