Young child!
Only a person
Who has felt
And
Has seen emotion
Can write poetry
Off the cuff
As I do
I hope you know that too
Carry on writing poetry my child
Some day you will remember me
For showing light in the hours of darkness
But take care
I can be but of limited help
To thee
As the whole of humanity
Belongs to me
I am only
A lonely friend
A passer
But you will never know me
Or ever see me
For gradually my child
I now pass by!!!

Sweet but needs tweaking here
Sweet but needs tweaking here and there I think.
In the line "Only a person who has felt?" I might lose the "?" or else explain why I'm wrong. and "I can be of limited help to thee/as the whole *of* humanity/belongs to me") On the whole a delightful piece. But there is a question mark over the piece and believe me that is not a bad thing. Beautiful if a little enigmatic. Thanks for sharing, why didn't you post this one to the stream? keep it up, John.

THANKS A GREAT DEAL
Owing to my speed
and limitations of posting poetry
one each day only
i post as blogs
and if i have no other worthwhile contribution
i convert the blog
into stream .
andrews knows this limitation.
SHALL CONVERT DULY CORRECTED AS SO KINDLY brought out
my compy overrules me at times
as i don't know much of poetry
