Close Call with Fate

In my dream last night,
I was Johnny Cash, the Man in Black.

And as Johnny Cash, I considered
wearing shorts to my next show.

Luckily, June, my gifted and tasteful wife,
handed me another pair of black trousers,
and recommended never having this thought again.
