It's Here, Somewhere

It’s there, sometimes
In between the strings of the present and the past
Hidden there in the fabric of space and reality
Making each moment more special than the last

It’s there, somehow
Emerging from the depths of the subconscious mind
As if you can almost touch and feel the intangible
Like an emotion becomes palpable and unconfined

It’s there, someway
Cradled amidst the stems of foundation and origin
With a profound sense of being and keen intellect
That everything else just pales in comparison

It’s here, somewhere
Buried under these lines, rhymes, notes and tones
With the hope that the mutual feeling brings absolution
With the hope that the words bring comfort to my bones

It’s here, somewhere in this poem

A winning poem

The chant like repetition of the prompt "it's here ....." is effectively used for each stanza.  The logic is consistent, what is unsaid and unwritten in verse, is just as meaningful as what is.  its all hidden and buried somewhere, its here, something I've often thought about.

Well done, nice share

It's Here, Somewhere

Thank you Sen,

I felt a connection to this piece for some reason, unable to quite pinpoint where it was but yet knowing it was exactly there, left open to interpretation and familiarity.

Mutual feelings...

about poetry and fellowship, this brings a bit of understanding to the reader; the poet who hopes that he [or she] has written something that will resonate with the person who reads their words and brings the two closer together. Nicely done, ~ Geez.

You hit the nail right on the head. Yes, the mutual feelings amidst poets is what we strive for. I felt a sense of accomplishment when I completed this piece.

Thank you very much for your comment.
