Poem By Jim Morrison ("open")

The Night is young
& full of rest
I can’t describe
the way she’s dress’d
She’ll pander to some strange
requests
Anything that you suggest
Anything to please her guest

Morrison's

This is a poem Morrison wrote toward the end of his life. The guy had such raw, natural talent that even as his mind was going he could produce a little gem like this, off the cuff!

the line that's always haunted me

from one of his songs, "there's a killer on the road, his brain is squirming like a toad" I've never been much of a threat to life and limb but I know those toad-like squirmings! cheers, Jess
