Parsley Sanctimonious

To go downhill, one’d climb
To valley heights
Once upon a time
To see the sights

In an upside-down world,
Wendy fat nickel
Was worth butter thin dime,
Women went unpearled,

Harvest had a rhyme
With organized crime
Andy flag always curled
In ways quite sublime.

There Cheap Parsimonious
Met Pure Sanctimonious.
They gave it a whirl,
Became quite matrimonious,

Birthed a baby girl,
Unjust Calder
Parsley Sanctimonious.

I think I take almost as much delight in your word play

as you do, Chuck. and have learnt to love your character names, since I stopped foolishly googling them. Often also feel that I only get a few layers into the onion, but when I push it I always get it deliriously wrong, so settle for delight. thanks, Jess
