Show Some Grace
That poor old filly standing slumped
At horses’ drinking trough
Appears in thought a long way off.
She’s feeling out of sorts
And hacks a nagging cough.
If I were you, I would show levity,
Some heartfelt charity,
Some aptly fitting grace …
And would not wholly scoff.
