Summer of Love

Dreams of maturity

while still so young,

songs of free love

were songs being sung;

tapestry thought patterns

indulging cheap wine,

billowing smoke

expanding your mind;

political talk

with nothing to fear,

living a day at a time

year after year;

the sixties and seventies

were in thier own way,

too much information

leaving nothing to say.

Disagree, respectfully

We did make a difference in the '60s. The world would be a much harsher place if we hadn't promoted love, life and the planet. cheers, Jess
