A Kiss Upon the Cheeks of the Dead

As death trembles upon thy lips

I bend and lay a kiss

As a soul and mind slowly slips

I bend and lay a kiss

As death takes those of innocent eyes

Where purity lies

They slowly die

Yet,do the angels cry?

Sometimes ,I hear

The screams of the dear

Souls that have departed

Yet,whenever I do

I think of the truth

Of the young and broken-hearted
