Girl Without a Veil

Dropped along the ridden path,

Was once an object a lady hath,

Tossed aside through an open carriage,

Never made it to the marriage,

A veil unveiled without a thought,

By a peasant girl the veil was caught,

Made new again with love and care,

Set atop the peasants hair,

Worn along the aisle of love,

Guided by those from up above.
