Duddyfunk?

Enough I sit here prude

Without a duddyfunk

And dare to be quite rude

(My heart's too much a maze

Amidst midmorning's phase):

Indeed, there be works here,

I fear it's more than clear,

That do forge health food,

If I may so allude;

Others be but junk.

(duddyfunk: a New England

pie made of beef or lamb

or venison, with salt pork

and ground cloves included

for an overkill by smell

and flavor (fore- and aftertaste)

of a gentle, too sensitive,

vegetarian tongue
